Algeria is set to host the second edition of the FIFA Series tournament, scheduled for June 2 to 10, 2025, according to multiple sources.
The event will feature four teams competing in a format where each team plays two matches, similar to the inaugural tournament held in March 2024.
Reports suggest that the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) plans to host the tournament at different venues than the first edition.
Potential locations include the Hocine Aït Ahmed Stadium in Tizi-Ouzou, Ali La Pointe Stadium in Douéra, and Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran.
The timing of the tournament places Algeria in the midst of a busy competitive calendar, with the 2026 World Cup qualifiers resuming in March and continuing through the year, followed by the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco in December 2025.
In addition to six World Cup qualifying matches, Algeria is expected to play several international friendlies during this packed schedule.
