Zamalek trio of Mahmoud Bentayek, Mostafa El-Zenary, and Ahmed Mahmoud are facing a spell on the sidelines after picking up injuries during the CAF Confederations Cup clash with Eyimba.
The trio were in action on Sunday when Zamalek held the Nigerian outfit to a 2-2 draw at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium. They are expected to undergo scans to determine the extent of the injuries.
Mahmoud Bentayek suffered an injury between the collarbone and the shoulder blade while defender Mustafa Al-Zanari picked up a hamstring injury in the much-anticipated clash
Meanwhile, Ahmed Mahmoud sustained a calf muscle strain which comes as worry to coach Jose Gomez.
