Al-Ahly officials are currently waiting for formal offers regarding the potential departure of Moroccan winger Reda Selim, according to media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour. In a recent television appearance, Al-Ghandour revealed that there has been significant interest in the player from multiple clubs, although no official proposals have yet been received.
We had information and shared with you two weeks ago that a Qatari club had shown interest in signing Reda Selim on loan,” Al-Ghandour explained.
Recently, we have heard of additional interest from Moroccan club Wydad, as well as Saudi and Qatari clubs.”
Al-Ghandour further clarified that Al-Ahly’s decision to let Selim go would depend on the arrival of an offer that meets the club’s financial expectations, as well as the approval of the team’s technical director, Swiss coach Marcel Koller.
If a suitable offer for the player and the club arrives, Reda Selim will be allowed to leave, either on loan or for a permanent transfer,” he confirmed.
The 26-year-old winger has been a subject of speculation in recent months, with his future at Al-Ahly uncertain.
However, until an official bid is made that satisfies all parties, Selim’s situation remains unresolved.
