French giants Paris Saint Germain have expressed interest in signing Egyptian Mohammed Salah as he nears expiration of his contract, AfricaSoccer.com understands.
Salah’s current contract expires at the end of the season but he is yet to receive a contract extension offer from Liverpool.
Reports emerging from France suggest that PSG are readying a pre-contract offer for the Liverpool star.
Salah can initiate talks with any club from January per FIFA rules and PSG intend to offer him a pre-contract in order to secure his services at the end of the season.
PSG are said to be in a direct contact with Salah and his representatives over a possible move to Paris in the summer.
And there is a growing confidence that the 32 year-old is keen on the prospect.
The former African Footballer of the Year winner played a pivotal role when Liverpool defeated Manchester City 2-0 at the Anfield on Sunday. He registered his name on the scoresheet after converting perfectly from the spot.
The 32-year-old winger has been outstanding since joining Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from AS Roma.
Salah has been Liverpool’s main man this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists in 12 appearances in the English Premier League.
