Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, head coach of Ghana’s home-based national team, the Black Galaxies, has announced a 32-man squad for the upcoming training camp in preparation for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Nigeria.
The camp, set to begin on Monday, November 25, 2024, will take place at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, near the national capital, Accra.
This camp serves as crucial preparation for the two-legged qualifier against their West African rivals, set for December.
During the camp, the squad will undergo intensive fitness sessions, tactical drills, and practice matches.
The team will break for Ghana’s General Elections after the first phase of training, which runs from November 25 to December 5, before resuming camp on December 8.
The Black Galaxies will host the first leg on Saturday, December 21, 2024, with the return leg scheduled for between December 27-29, 2024.
Having defeated Nigeria in the qualifiers to secure a spot in the 2023 CHAN tournament, Coach Dramani’s side will look to replicate that success and secure qualification for the 2025 CHAN, which will be co-hosted by Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.
