Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu has been named in AS Monaco’s matchday squad for their Ligue 1 encounter against Stade Brestois on Friday, November 22.
Manager Adi Hütter announced Salisu’s inclusion, marking the 25-year-old’s return to competitive action after injury setbacks disrupted his season.
Despite his pivotal role in Monaco’s defense since the 2024/25 campaign began, Salisu missed recent international duty with Ghana, opting to focus on his recovery in France during the November break.
His return is timely for Monaco as they aim to strengthen their title pursuit and close the gap on league leaders PSG.
