Effective immediately, the contracts of head coach Ángel Miguel Gamondi and assistant coach Moussa Ndaw have been terminated.
This decision comes as the club seeks a new direction for its first team following back-to-back defeats in the Tanzanian Premier League against Azam FC and Tabora United.
Despite the changes, the management extended gratitude to the coaches for their contributions and wished them success in their future endeavours.
The statement also highlights that the process of finding replacements is already underway, with the club aiming for a swift resolution.
This proactive approach reflects the management’s commitment to ensuring continuity and maintaining high performance within the team.
Gamondi was appointed in July last year when replaced Tunisian tactician Nasreddine Nabi, leading them the Tanzanian League triumph and a quarter-final place in the CAF Champions League.
The Argentinian also guided the Citizens to winning the Tanzanian FA Cup and Community Shield titles.
