Trent Alexander-Arnold lauds Mo Salah’s consistency as “UNMATCHED ”

Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold has hailed Mohamed Salah’s remarkable consistency since joining the club in 2017, calling it a rare quality he hasn’t seen in any other player. The right-back spoke candidly about his admiration for Salah’s relentless commitment to peak performance, attributing Liverpool’s success in part to the forward’s unwavering standards.

In a recent interview, Alexander-Arnold described Salah’s consistency as something of a privilege to witness day in and day out.

Mo Salah’s consistency – from the moment he came into the team to today – is the most consistent I have ever, ever, ever seen, if I’m honest.

To witness it on a daily basis is a privilege, to say the least,” Alexander-Arnold said, underlining how Salah has set the standard for the rest of the squad.

Salah’s approach to self-discipline and his dedication to maintaining peak physical condition, Alexander-Arnold noted, have made him a role model for players across all ages within the Liverpool team.

For everyone in the team, whether you’re older than him or younger than him, he’s the person you look at for consistency,” he continued.

The way he looks after his body, the way he looks after himself, the way he performs game after game – getting goals and assists, winning games, doing special things – he is incredible.”

Since his arrival at Liverpool, Salah has cemented his status as one of the club’s greatest-ever players. In 361 appearances, he has scored 218 goals and provided 96 assists, making him the fifth-highest scorer in Liverpool’s history.

His on-field accomplishments have been instrumental to Liverpool’s trophy haul in recent years, with the team capturing major titles, including the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup, since Salah’s arrival.

Salah’s 2023 season has been no different.

The Egyptian forward has already netted seven goals and recorded seven assists in 12 appearances across all competitions, showing no signs of slowing down.

His form continues to play a crucial role in Liverpool’s ongoing push for both domestic and European success.

Alexander-Arnold’s praise reflects Salah’s influence beyond the scoresheet, emphasizing how his professionalism and relentless drive inspire his teammates.

For Liverpool fans and players alike, Salah’s unmatched consistency and commitment serve as a constant reminder of the high standards required to succeed at the highest level.
