Senegalese defender Souleymane Diawara sustained an injury during Sunday’s match against Sochaux, and he left the field before the final whistle. The injury is described as a trauma, and Marseille coach Elie Baup mentioned that they will assess how it evolves. Diawara was involved in an aerial collision with a Sochaux defender and the goalkeeper, Simon Pouplin. He was replaced by Brazilian defender Lucas Mendes.
