The eagerly anticipated group stage of the CAF Champions League is set to kick off, with the first round of matches scheduled to take place across Africa from November 26 to 30. Clubs from various corners of the continent will begin their campaigns in the prestigious competition, all vying for a spot in the knockout stages.
In Group A, powerhouse TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo will host MC Alger from Algeria on either November 29 or 30. Meanwhile, Tanzania’s Young Africans are set to take on Al Hilal Omdurman from Sudan in what promises to be an exciting clash.
Group B action sees South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, one of the tournament’s favorites, go head-to-head with AS Maniema from the DRC, also on November 29 or 30.

Finally, in Group D, Tunisia’s Espérance de Tunis will meet Djoliba AC from Mali in a match scheduled for November 29 or 30.
In the same group, Egyptian side Pyramids will clash with Sagrada Esperança from Angola, rounding out the first matchday’s fixtures.
