Black Bulls delivered a commanding performance against Alize Fort of Salimani FC in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup’s preliminary round, securing a 7-0 victory on Saturday. The Mozambican side’s dominance left no doubt about their intentions as they overwhelmed their Comorian hosts from the outset.

The match, held on foreign soil, saw Black Bulls assert their authority within the first two minutes. Jeleel Hammed opened the scoring early, setting the tone for what would become a one-sided affair.

By the 15th minute, the visitors had already doubled their lead, with Stephen Seameh finding the back of the net, pushing the score to 2-0.

The onslaught continued as Alize Fort struggled to contain the relentless attacks from Black Bulls. In the 36th minute, Vitor added a third goal, effectively sealing the fate of the first half.

The Mozambicans entered the locker room with a comfortable 3-0 lead, leaving their opponents with little hope for a comeback.

The second half mirrored the first, with Black Bulls maintaining their pressure and extending their lead further.

Shortly after the hour mark, Muzeu Danilo made it 4-0, as the Comorian side continued to falter under the relentless offensive.

The floodgates remained open, with Alfandega Chamito scoring in the 78th minute to make it 5-0.

The final blows came in quick succession as Ayuba Francis and Ifoni Ejaita netted two more goals in the 82nd and 83rd minutes, respectively.

Their contributions pushed the scoreline to an emphatic 7-0, effectively ending the tie before the second leg could even begin.

This comprehensive victory all but guarantees Black Bulls’ progression to the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Mozambican team showcased their superiority in every aspect of the game, leaving Alize Fort with little to play for in the return leg.

For Alize Fort of Salimani FC, the result was a harsh reminder of the challenges posed by continental competitions.

Their inability to match the pace and technical prowess of Black Bulls highlighted the gap between the two sides.

As they prepare for the second leg, the Comorians face the daunting task of salvaging some pride after a humiliating defeat.

Black Bulls, on the other hand, will be full of confidence heading into the next round.

Their performance in this preliminary match not only underlines their strength but also sets a high benchmark for their campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup.

With a seven-goal cushion, they can approach the second leg with a sense of assurance, knowing that their place in the next stage is all but secured.
