Ramzi Touré Idrissou, the 28-year-old Togolese international, has embarked on a new chapter in his football career by joining Chalkanoras Idaliou, a team competing in the Cypriot second division. Idrissou, who has previously plied his trade in Slovenia, Norway, the United States, the Faroe Islands, and Romania, is eager to make his mark in Cyprus and help his new club achieve its ambitions.

Idrissou recently signed a one-year contract with Chalkanoras Idaliou, a move he believes is the right step for his career at this stage.

Speaking to 228foot, the former Tropics player explained his decision to join the Cypriot side, citing the club’s commitment to him and the promising project they presented.

“I signed with Chalkanoras for a year. The club really showed that they wanted me, and I like what they are proposing as a project,” Idrissou said.

“After talking with the coach and the General Manager, I was convinced that it was a good opportunity.”

Idrissou’s arrival in Cyprus follows a brief stint in Romania, where he made just three appearances for ACS Viitorul Târgu Jiu.

Despite the limited game time, Idrissou remains optimistic about his prospects with Chalkanoras Idaliou and has set clear objectives for himself in this new environment.

“My personal goals are to establish myself immediately and contribute to the club’s success.

We aim high, and we have enough quality in the squad to achieve these goals. I am ready for the challenge, and I will give my all so that the club achieves its objectives,” he stated.

The defender’s determination to succeed is evident as he prepares to bring his experience from various leagues across the globe to the Cypriot second division.

Idrissou’s versatility and ability to adapt to different playing styles and environments will be crucial as he looks to make an impact at Chalkanoras Idaliou.

While Idrissou’s market value is currently estimated at €10,000 according to Transfermarkt, his true worth may be better measured by the influence he can exert on the pitch and his contribution to the club’s ambitions.

With his experience spanning multiple countries and leagues, Idrissou is well-equipped to handle the challenges that lie ahead in Cyprus.

As Chalkanoras Idaliou sets its sights on success in the upcoming season, the club will be counting on Idrissou’s leadership and defensive prowess to help them reach their goals.

For Idrissou, this new challenge represents not just another stop in his career, but an opportunity to further solidify his reputation as a reliable and determined central defender.

The upcoming season will be crucial for both the player and the club, as they work together to achieve their shared objectives.

For Ramzi Touré Idrissou, the journey in Cyprus is just beginning, and he is ready to face whatever challenges come his way.
