Burkina Faso’s national football team, known as the Stallions, is facing difficulties in assembling the entire squad in Ouagadougou, according to coach Paul Put. Out of the 28 players called up, seven are still retained by their clubs due to upcoming matches. Despite this challenge, the coach has initiated the regrouping process with the available players, starting with an effort test. Preparations for the CAN will continue with training sessions until January 8, when the team will travel to South Africa. Burkina Faso is placed in Group C alongside Zambia, Nigeria, and DR Congo for the tournament.
