Vahid Halilhodzic, the coach of the Algerian national team, has emphasized the significance of the upcoming CAN match against Tunisia. According to the Franco-Bosnian coach, this match will play a decisive role in determining Algeria’s fate in the competition.
Halilhodzic expressed his view, stating, “This meeting against Tunisia will determine our future in this competition. If we advance to the quarter-finals, you never know what can happen.”
Despite lacking a group of star players, Halilhodzic praised his team’s characteristics, describing them as a young and inexperienced yet enthusiastic, ambitious, homogeneous, united, and generous group.
He also shared an interesting statistic, saying, “Over the last few years with Ivory Coast, Algeria, and Dynamo Zagreb, I have only lost six matches, even if I haven’t played hundreds.”
