Culmination of crown prince Moulay Hassan league events with football stars in attendance
The Regional Academy of Education and Training in Casablanca-Settat, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Armonia Foundation, concluded the finals of the Crown Prince Moulay Hassan League on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Sibawaih Sports Complex in Casablanca.
The league saw the recognition of prominent sports figures, including Hicham Dikik, the national coach of the indoor football team, Abdellatif Tattibi, the national handball manager, Aziz Boudribila, former international player, and Saïd Gandhi, with several participating students in the sports league also being honored.
Hassan Essedik, an educational professional and director of the Armonia Foundation, emphasized that the league is part of the celebrations for the birth of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Hassan.
He highlighted the educational institution’s commitment to enhancing school sports, emphasizing that the league is a strategic educational platform, aligning with the recommendations of the development model concerning providing proper sports education for students, fostering positive role models, and instilling a culture of appreciation for athletes and exemplary figures.
Hicham Dikik, coach of the national indoor football team, stressed the importance of setting good examples and successful role models for youth and students.
He underscored that the Crown Prince Moulay Hassan League, organized by the Armonia Foundation, featuring a host of champions, provides an opportunity to encourage the younger generations and inspire hope for the development of sports in Morocco.
Aziz Boudribila, a former national team player, highlighted how the participation of athletes in creative and effective initiatives contributes to motivating educators to redouble their efforts through these school leagues, which aim to nurture talent.
He affirmed that Morocco has embarked on training workshops and nurturing sports talent over the past decade, a development everyone has recently witnessed through the country’s achievements in this field.
The Crown Prince Moulay Hassan League featured numerous football matches, with a team of students from the institution emerging victorious.
The winners and participants were celebrated through the distribution of medals and symbolic gifts, encouraging participation in sports and honoring individuals and events that have contributed significantly to football at the national and international levels.
