Simba Bhora claims provisional lead in Zimbabwean PSL standings
Simba Bhora emerged as the standout performer in Zimbabwe’s Premier Soccer League (PSL) on Saturday, May 11, 2024, securing a vital home victory against Ngezi Platinum. Alongside this pivotal win, three additional matches unfolded, shaping the day’s football landscape.
Despite an initial setback with Tapiwa Mandinyenya’s 29th-minute opener, Simba Bhora showcased resilience, orchestrating a remarkable comeback after halftime.
Billy Vheremu’s equalizer in the 75th minute injected renewed vigor into the Shamva-based club.
The pivotal moment arrived in the 88th minute when Simba Bhora capitalized on an own goal, propelling themselves into the lead with a 2-1 advantage.
