The Rabat-Sale-Kenitra “A” football league clinched victory at the Regional Cup for Under-12s, held in Agadir from May 3rd to 5th, 2024.
Securing the second position was the Rabat-Sale-Kenitra “B” league, closely followed by the Fez-Meknes league in third place. Sixteen teams participated in this competition, with each regional league represented by one team.
Notably, thirteen regional leagues were represented, with three of them fielding two teams each: Rabat-Sale-Kenitra, Greater Casablanca, and Souss-Massa.
The primary objective of this cup was to unearth talented young players and guide them towards federal training centers.
Soon, the preliminary list of selected players will be revealed in preparation for the final selection camp for the 2024/2025 season.
During the event, Mr. Roy Peters, the National Technical Management responsible, along with regional coordinators and technical directors of federal training centers, diligently observed and evaluated the performance of young players.
Present at the event were the National Technical Director, Mr. Chris Van Boevelde, and the Managing Director in charge of coach training, Mr. Fahti Jamal.
