Anticipation mounts for the highly anticipated clash between Horoya AC and AS Bolonta on Friday, April 26, 2024. With less than 24 hours remaining before the opening match at the Petit Sory Stadium in Nongo, the league has taken a significant stride by providing essential sports equipment to participating clubs.
The initiative, spearheaded by the Guinean Women’s Football League (LGFF), saw the distribution of balls and two sets of jerseys to clubs across both divisions (01 and 02).
This strategic move aims not only to enhance the quality of the game but also to bolster the existing infrastructure at the training level.
The ceremonial presentation of the equipment took place at the league’s headquarters in Kaloum, underscoring the commitment of league president Fatoumata Binta Bérété to uphold fairness and equality in the upcoming season.
With the new season set to unfold, the spotlight shines on the ten clubs divided into two zones: Conakry and Labé. Zone A, comprising Conakry teams, features Horoya AC, AS Bolonta, ASFAG, JT Kamsar, and Mbo Galaxie.
Meanwhile, Zone B, centered around Labé, includes Kebou FC, Hirondelle de Kankan, Espoir Yimbaya, Lionnes Sportives, and CO Ratoma.
