Luis Enrique, the current coach of Celta Vigo, has confirmed his departure from the club after the last day of La Liga. He is set to join FC Barcelona next season as their new coach, replacing Tata Martino.
“I fulfilled my mission, I had one year for it. I am happy to have managed to keep the club in La Liga. I want to thank everyone at the club. I wanted to warn Celta as quickly as possible so that they can prepare well for the next season,” Enrique stated.
His departure from Celta Vigo paves the way for his new role at Barcelona, where he will take charge ahead of the upcoming season.
