The Moroccan U20 national team, also known as the Lion Cubs of the Atlas, secured a 2-0 victory against Togo in the first leg of the second and final round of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. With this advantage, they are gearing up for the return match on May 19.
Coach Ben Soltane has called up a consistent squad of 24 players for the return leg, which will take place on May 24 at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat. The squad remains unchanged from the one that traveled to Lomé for the first leg.
Morocco has taken a significant step towards qualification, but the response from Adam Fazazi’s Togolese side is eagerly anticipated.
