Mour Paye has inked his first professional contract with Lyon at the age of 19. The young attacking midfielder is now committed to Les Gones for a season, with the club holding two additional option years.
Speaking to the club’s website, Paye expressed his joy at reaching this milestone in his career, saying, “Signing this contract fills me with immense happiness. It’s just the beginning, and the real work lies ahead. It’s a dream come true for me, signing for my favorite club where I’ve spent more than half of my life.”
When asked about his playing style, Paye described himself as a winger who likes to make runs and strike the ball. He added, “My goal is to play with the first team, but I recognize I still have progress to make while playing in the CFA.”
It’s also reported that other young talents, Luca Mocio and Kevin Tsimba, are set to follow suit and sign their first professional contracts with Lyon soon.
