However, the difficulties don’t end there. Players have observed that their kit shrinks significantly after washing, with striker Karim Ansarifard expressing his frustration: “We are given size L socks, but after just two days and one wash, they become size S.”
Coach Carlos Queiroz has attributed the issue to the German equipment manufacturer Uhlsport, which supplies the Iranian team. Queiroz believes that the provided equipment is not suitable for playing in extreme humidity conditions, which could potentially jeopardize their performance in the World Cup.
