Mali’s national football team is gearing up for a friendly match against Guinea Conakry on May 25 as part of their preparations for the African Cup of Nations qualifiers. While Guinea has already announced the list of players for this encounter, Mali is still finalizing their squad.
However, one confirmed inclusion for Mali is defender Ousmane Coulibaly, as confirmed by his club, Stade Brestois. Coulibaly’s presence adds defensive solidity to Mali’s lineup for the upcoming friendlies.
Under the guidance of coach Henryk Kasperczak, Mali will play two additional friendly matches: against Gabon on May 28 in Colombes, Hauts-de-Seine, and against Croatia in Osijek on May 31.
As the Eagles of Mali continue their preparations, the inclusion of Coulibaly and other talented players reflects their determination to perform well in both the friendlies and the upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
