Ghana’s Matchday six game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar is scheduled to take place in Morocco on Monday, March 24, 2025.
The game was originally scheduled to take place in Antananarivo but has been relocated to Al Hoceima due to the unapproved status of Madagascar’s national stadium.
The game will now be played on a neutral ground with the Grand Stade d’Al Hoceima named as the venue for the Group I fixture.
This fixture will also be played three days after the Black Stars’ home game against Chad, which is scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium on March 21.
After winning just two games in the year 2024 and failing to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, the Black Stars are aiming to begin the year on a good note.
After four matches played in the Mundial qualifiers, Ghana currently sit joint-top of Group I alongside Comoros after taking nine points from four games ,having picked wins against Madagascar, Mali and Central African Republic while losing to Comoros.
With four previous World Cup appearances in Germany, South Africa, Brazil, and Qatar, the Black Stars are determined to secure a spot in their fifth tournament, set to take place across the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
