Madagascar head coach Corentin Martins has targeted upsetting Ghana in their upcoming clash in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The Barea, who sit 2nd in Group I with 10 points will host the Black Stars in the Matchday six games of the qualifiers at the Al Hoceima Stadium in Morocco.
The French tactician has admitted that Ghana, who sit top of Group I with 12 points has a good squad but his charges are bent on causing an upset.
“We’re going to play our way. We’re going to try to annoy them [Black Stars] as much as possible,” Martins said.
“Ghana has great players who play in major European leagues, [but] in football, anything is possible. We have to play the same kind of game in order to stand a chance of winning points from Ghana,” Martins clarified.
“This game is not decisive on Monday because there are four other games still to be played,” he added.
Kick-off has been scheduled at 19:00 GMT.
Both sides are coming from confidence-boosting victories in match day five where Madagascar defeated Central African Republic by a 4-1 score while Ghana battered Chad by 5-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
