The head coach of Ghana, Otto Addo has indicated that his team will face a tough challenge on Friday, March 21, when they take on Chad in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Black Stars will host their counterpart form Chad tomorrow in Round 5 of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Thursday, March 20, Ghana coach Otto Addo said although Chad is not a top side on the continent, his side cannot underrate them.
“I know Chad is not a top team but believe me it’s not going to be easy. We need all the support we can get,” coach Otto Addo said.
The encounter between Ghana and Chad is scheduled to kick off at 7pm at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
Both national teams have prepared well and will be keen on earning all three points.
For the Black Stars, a win can propel the side to the summit of the Group I standings in the African qualifiers for next year’s mundial.
Chad on the other hand needs a win to stay in contention for the qualification.
