Captain of Egypt’s U20 national team, Ahmed Khaled “Kabaka”, has described the upcoming quarter-final clash against Ghana at the 2025 CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) as a make-or-break affair.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, Kabaka admitted that the match against the Black Satellites will be very tough.
He is, however, confident that the Young Pharaohs can get a win over the Black Satellites to put smiles on the faces of Egyptians.
“We all consider the Ghana match as make or break,” Kabaka said as quoted by CAFOnline.
He continued, “Everyone knows how tough this game will be, but we are counting on our strength of character. We want to put a smile on the faces of Egyptians.”
The quarter-final clash between Ghana and Egypt at the 2025 CAF U20 AFCON will be played on Monday, May 12.
The encounter between Ghana and Egypt is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Suez Stadium.
