The head coach of Egypt U20, Osama Nabih, has indicated that his team will approach the quarter-final clash against Ghana at the 2025 CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations as if it is a final.
The Young Pharaohs are set to take on the Black Satellites on Monday, Nay 12, in the quarter-final stage of the ongoing tournament in Egypt.
Speaking in his pre-match interview, Coach Osama Nabih said that although his team endured tough times in the group stage, they are determined to get a win against Ghana tomorrow to advance to the semi-finals.
“We are going through difficult circumstances due to injuries and fatigue. But we are armed with a fighting spirit and are determined to make the fans happy.
“Advancing through the group stage was a significant psychological burden. Now the optimism in our camp is high. The boys know what’s at stake. This match is a final to us,” Coach Nabih said as reported by CAFOnline.
