Morocco’s U20 national team will take on Sierra Leone’s U20 side in the quarter-final stage of the 2025 CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The fixture has been confirmed following the conclusion of all the group stage matches.
On the final day of the group games, South Africa drew 1-1 with Zambia while Tanzania lost 1-0 to host nation Egypt.
The quarter-final encounter between Morocco and Sierra Leone is scheduled to be played on Monday, May 12, and will kick off at 15:00gmt.
In the other quarter-final games, Nigeria will battle defending champions Senegal. Ghana will take on host nation Egypt while South Africa locks horns with DR Congo.
It is important to note that all the quarter-final matches will be played on Monday.
The teams are set to do everything for a win to advance to the semi-final for a chance to qualify for the FIFA U20 World Cup and the opportunity to continue fighting for the ultimate prize.
