Ghana U20 winger Abdulhakim Sulemana has been adjudged Man of the Match after his impressive performance in the quarter-final clash against Egypt at the 2025 CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The exciting winger missed out on a starting role but was introduced into the game in the second half.
After coming on, Abdulhakim Sulemana put up an inspiring display, scoring from the penalty spot late in added time, forcing the 90 minutes to end in a 2-2 draw.
He went on to impress with his displays in extra time as well in hopes of helping Ghana to secure a win over Egypt to advance to the semi-finals of the U20 AFCON.
Unfortunately, Ghana lost 5-4 to Egypt in the shootout and crashed out of the tournament.
Although Abdulhakim Sulemana ended up on the losing side, his outstanding showing earned him the Man of the Match award.
