The head coach of Egypt’s U20 national team, Osama Nabih is anticipating a blockbuster showdown in his team’s semi-final clash against Morocco’s U20 in the 2025 CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Speaking in a pre-match interview, the coach said the match will be like an Arab final.
“This match is like an Arab final,” Coach Nabih said during Wednesday’s pre-match press conference.
The Egypt coach, in his interview, acknowledged the strength of the Moroccan national team, stressing that his team must rise to the occasion and give their best on the matchday to stand any chance of winning.
“Morocco is a strong and well-organised opponent. They’ve been impressive across all levels, and we must rise to the challenge,” Coach Osama Nabih said.
The semi-final clash between Egypt and Morocco at the CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament is scheduled to kick off at 6pm on Thursday, May 15.
Both teams are eager to earn a victory to make the final of the tournament.
