FC Porto goalkeeper Claudio Ramos has described the team’s next game at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup against Al Ahly as a must-win match.
Speaking in a post-match interview after FC Porto lost 2-1 to Inter Miami on Thursday, the goalkeeper urged his teammates to win their final Group A game against Al Ahly next week.
“We know that we have one match left, and we have to win it, nothing more. We have to work hard to win, and we hope that our efforts will come together to advance.
“I felt confident, and I saw the entire team’s work. The most important thing is collective focus. We didn’t win, and we’re sad.
“We have never lacked the support of the fans. Even in this difficult season, we always feel that they support us no matter the circumstances. We will perform well in the next match,” Porto goalkeeper Claudio Ramos said.
The Group A match between Al Ahly and FC Porto will be played on Tuesday, June 24.
