2025 Arab Cup: Morocco to battle UAE in semi-final showdown on December 15

Morocco will lock horns with the United Arab Emirates in a highly anticipated semi-final of the 2025 Arab Cup, scheduled for Monday, December 15.

The encounter is set to kick off at 4:30 PM Cairo time and 5:30 PM Saudi time as both sides battle for a place in the final.

The Atlas Lions booked their spot in the last four after finishing top of their group with seven points. Morocco opened their campaign with a 3-1 win over Comoros, followed by a goalless draw against Oman. They then edged Saudi Arabia 1-0 before sealing progression with another narrow 1-0 victory over Syria.

The UAE, meanwhile, secured their semi-final berth in dramatic fashion, overcoming Algeria in a penalty shootout on Friday evening to keep their tournament hopes alive.

The winner of the semi-final showdown will advance to the Arab Cup final, which is scheduled to take place on December 18.
