South Africa’s U15 Boys team kicked off their campaign at the 2025 African Schools Football Championship with a 2-0 win against Algeria’s U20 Boys team on Wednesday, April 23.
The youth national teams locked horns at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, where the Championship is being staged in Accra, Ghana.
In a game of 20 minutes per half, both teams put up a good performance, serving the fans with some exciting football.
In the end, South Africa’s U15 Boys took their chances, scoring twice to secure a 2-0 win.

In the other Group A game on Wednesday, the Ghana U15 Boys team defeated Uganda 2-0 in their opening match.
