Nigeria’s Super Eagles have been placed in Group C of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where they will face Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania in the group stage.
The draw, held in Rabat, Morocco, on Monday, January 27, sets up another opportunity for Nigeria to chase continental glory after finishing as runners-up at the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast. The Super Eagles will be aiming to go one step further this time and secure their fourth AFCON title.
The tournament will kick off on Sunday, December 21, and conclude with the final on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
With a mix of experience and emerging talent, Nigeria will look to navigate Group C successfully and mount a strong challenge for the title.
