The stage is set for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) as host nation Morocco has been drawn into Group A alongside Mali, Zambia, and Comoros.
The official draw took place in Rabat, Morocco, on Monday, January 27.
The highly anticipated tournament will kick off on Sunday, December 21, and run through to Sunday, January 18, 2026, when the final will be played.
The draw has produced exciting matchups across all groups, with defending champions Senegal placed in Group D, while powerhouses like Nigeria, Egypt, and Ivory Coast will also face strong opposition in their respective groups.
With Morocco hosting the competition, the Atlas Lions will look to capitalise on home advantage as they aim for continental glory.
