Black Galaxies coach Didi Dramani is targeting a clean sheet against Nigeria in the crucial return fixture in the 2024 Championship for African Nations (CHAN).
Ghana were held to a pulsating goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, as both teams struggled to find the net.
The Black Galaxies will travel to Nigeria for the return encounter on December 28, 2024.
The winner of the tie qualifies to compete at next year’s CHAN tournament that will be held in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
“As much as possible, we will try to keep a clean sheet but I want to believe that we will surely score. We will score, we will open up something. I control the energy, the effort, I control the performance (of my boys) but the results, we don’t control it” he said.
Ghana edged out Nigeria on penalties two years ago to secure a spot in the last edition and are seeking for a second consecutive qualification over their West African rivals.
