The head coach of Morocco, Jorge Vilda, is keen on guiding his side past Ghana in the semi-final of the 2024 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Speaking ahead of the game, Jorge Vilda said the chemistry in his team is their main strength.
He said his team knows how to endure and strike at the right time to earn victory in any game.
“This team knows how to endure and strike at the right time. There’s chemistry, there’s soul,” Jorge Vilda said after Morocco defeated Mali 3-1 in the quarter-final of the 2024 WAFCON.
The semi-final showdown between Morocco and Ghana at the 2024 WAFCON will be played on Tuesday, July 22, in Rabat.
Both national teams are determined to fight for a win to reach the finals of the tournament.
For Morocco, a win against Ghana will bring the team closer to hosting and winning the tournament.
Ghana also wants to win to make it to the final for the first time since 2006.
