Burkina Faso striker Aristide Bancé is determined to erase the disappointment of the home draw against Uganda as his team prepares to face South Sudan in the second round of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Horoya AC forward from Conakry has issued a clear message to the South Sudanese squad ahead of Sunday’s match.

Speaking confidently, Bancé stressed that the Stallions are focused solely on victory. “We came here to win, we always have a draw in mind. We have to win, and our current plan is to score. We will do everything regardless of how we play. Victory is the most important thing,” he said.

Bancé also emphasized the strength of the Burkinabé squad, noting the quality of the attacking players and the team’s collective spirit. He believes these factors will be decisive in securing all three points. “We have quality up front and with the team spirit we will get the 3 points this Sunday,” he added.

For South Sudan, the task is challenging. Having suffered a 0-1 defeat to Malawi in their opening qualifier, they will now face a motivated Burkina Faso side determined to maintain their winning form. Bancé’s warning is clear: Burkina Faso will settle for nothing less than three points.

The match is scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. GMT, and all eyes will be on the Stallions as they seek to bounce back from their initial draw and assert their dominance in the group.
