Zimbabwe has named a preliminary squad of 34 players as the Warriors prepare for both the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and the COSAFA Cup, which begins on May 25 in South Africa. While the Zimbabwe Football Association has yet to release a detailed training program, the selected players will be part of the camp ahead of the tournaments. For the AFCON in Egypt, Zimbabwe is drawn in Group A alongside hosts Egypt, Uganda, and DR Congo in Cairo. The 34-man list will be trimmed ahead of the continental competition.

The squad includes:

The Warriors’ squad blends domestic talent with players competing in top leagues across Europe, Africa, and Asia, giving coach Milutin Sredojević a mix of experience and youth as Zimbabwe aims to perform strongly in both tournaments. The final AFCON squad will be confirmed closer to the competition’s start, following evaluation during the preparation period.
