DR Congo Squad Announced for Guinea Clash in 2018 World Cup Qualifiers
Florent Ibenge, coach of DR Congo, presented his squad on Monday ahead of the second day of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, in which the Leopards will face Guinea on November 13 in Conakry.
No major surprises were observed in the squad selection. Ibenge has retained most of the team that achieved a 4-0 victory over Libya in the opening round of qualifiers. One notable absence is Elia Meschak of Tout Puissant Mazembe.
In addition to the 26 regular call-ups, the Leopards have also included four players for a change of sporting nationality, namely Riffi Mandanda, Ikoko Jordan, Yeni Ngbakoto, and Gael Kakuta.
