Koman Coulibaly, who was dismissed during the last African Cup of Nations for errors in officiating the match between South Africa and Angola, has been appointed as the referee for the Tunisia vs. Cameroon match. This match is part of the first-leg play-offs for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Coulibaly will be assisted by Diarra Balla from Mali as the 1st assistant and Aboubacar Doumbouya from Guinea as the 2nd assistant. The 4th official for the match is also from Mali, Kermbe Ousmane.
Other officials for the match include Referee Inspector Sinko Zeli from Côte d’Ivoire, Commissioner Anthony Baffoe from Ghana, and Security Officer René Eberle from Switzerland. The appointment of Coulibaly to such a high-profile match reflects the ongoing trust in his refereeing abilities at the international level.
