Ghana’s midfielder Mohammed Rabiu, who plays for Kuban Krasnodar, is expected to miss the first leg of the 2014 World Cup against Egypt. Rabiu sustained an injury during the Europa League, forcing him to leave the pitch after 20 minutes. The Kuban coach stated that Rabiu would be sidelined for 5 to 6 weeks, and Ghana will need to find a replacement for the crucial match against Egypt on October 15 in Kumasi.
