Christian Atsu has been officially ruled out of Ghana’s upcoming match due to an ankle injury sustained during a game with his club, FC Porto, against Maritimo. The Ghana Football Federation (GFA) confirmed the withdrawal, stating that Atsu would not recover in time for the match against Sudan. Another player, Emmanuel Frimpong, is also uncertain for the match due to groin pain. Frimpong arrived in Accra for a medical evaluation to determine his fitness for the upcoming game. The final decision will be made by Ghanaian doctors based on his assessment.
