Etalon d’Or 2014: Six Finalists Revealed for Burkina Faso’s Top Football Honor
The organizing committee of the Etalon d’Or, the prestigious award recognizing the best Burkinabé footballer of the season, has officially revealed the six finalists vying for the 2014 crown.
Among them is Jonathan Pitroipa, last year’s winner, who is once again in contention to retain his title. The competition will be fierce, with national team captain Charles Kaboré also nominated, along with Bakary Koné of Olympique Lyonnais and Djakaridja Koné, a key figure at Evian Thonon Gaillard.
Completing the shortlist are Narcisse Bambara and Jonathan Zongo, both of whom have had impressive seasons and are aiming to claim their first Etalon d’Or.
